This Official National League Warren Giles baseball has been signed by 22 members of the 1954 New York Giants. The Giants, led by the 1954 NL MVP Willie Mays in his return from military duty, won 97 games and finished first in the National League by five games over the Brooklyn Dodgers. New York’s opponent in the World Series was the 111-win Cleveland Indians, although the Giants ripped off four consecutive wins to put away the Indians at Cleveland Stadium.

The Hall of Fame manager Leo Durocher has signed the sweet spot of this lightly toned baseball. Other signatures include the Hall of Famer Willie Mays, Dusty Rhodes, Paul Giel, Marv Grissom, Sal Maglie, Joey Amalfitano, Foster Castelman, Larry Jansen, Hank Thompson, Eric Rodin, Wes Westrum, Bob Lennon, Herman Franks, Don Liddle, Bobby Hofman, Windy McCall, Frank Shellenback, Al Worthington, Ruben Gomez, Al Corwin, and Alex Konikowski. The signatures have been written in black pen. This stunning and historically significant baseball comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AE05626).
