Mr. Padre Tony Gwynn used this bat during his final season in the majors. Gwynn hit .324 to bring his career average to a remarkable .338, all but ensuring him a place in Cooperstown. Gwynn’s 2001 Louisville Slugger B267 model bat is un-cracked and exhibits excellent use. There are several ball marks with stitch impressions on the right, back and front barrel along with white leather ball scuffs. A moderate coat of pine tar is on the center brand and the lower hand was once taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. The length “33,” weight “30.5,” and Gwynn’s number “19” are written on the knob in black marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B06106) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.
