Minnesota Vikings running back Herschel Walker wore this purple Vikings helmet circa 1989-91. Walker joined the Vikings from the Dallas Cowboys in a blockbuster trade midway through the 1989 season after spending the first several years of his career as a star in the USFL and for Dallas in the NFL. Walker rushed for 2,264 yards during his time with Minnesota, scoring 20 touchdowns on the ground and picking up another five in the air. Walker was one of the most exciting offensive players in the NFL during his time in Minnesota, averaging over four yards per carry while also returning kicks for the Vikings.

This offered Riddell helmet is purple, with the Vikings horn logos applied to each side of the helmet. The facemask is purple and the chinstrap remains intact. “Riddell” is printed in red on the front and back bumpers. Walker’s number “34” is written inside the helmet in silver marker. Walker has signed the right side of the helmet in silver marker, inscribing “Gamer” and “2X All Pro” in addition to his signature. This helmet comes with a LOA from MEARS for the game use and a JSA STICKER ONLY (J42238) for Walker’s signature.
