San Francisco Giants ace Madison Bumgarner wore these black Nike Swingman Legend cleats during the Giants 9-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on September 30th, 2016 at AT&T Park. Bumgarner notched his 15th win of the season, and the milestone 100th of his career, after logging 7.1 innings of three-run ball against the high-powered Dodger offense. Bumgarner struck out five Dodgers and walked one while contributing to his own cause with a 2-4, two-RBI night. Bumgarner’s big moment came in the bottom of the sixth inning, when his two RBI double off Brandon McCarthy increased San Francisco’s lead to 6-3.

These offered Nike Swingman Legend cleats are black, with a white midsole and white accents. An image of Ken Griffey Jr. swinging with a backwards cap is applied to the inner heel of each cleat. A white Nike swoosh logo appears on the outside of each cleat. A piece of black Velcro is applied to the back of each heel. Covering the laces is a black lace guard with a white Nike swoosh logo. “Swingman Legend” is applied to each tongue in white and gold. Nine stainless steal cleats are present on the sole of each size 14 shoe. Bumgarner has signed both lace guards in silver marker, inscribing “16 GU” above each signature. Each shoe comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JC 040732, JC 040733) for the game use and a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (E03656, E03657) for the signatures.
