Michael Jordan wore this Chicago Bulls shooting shirt during the 1997-98 NBA season. This was Jordan’s final season with the Bulls before his second retirement, after which he joined up with the Washington Wizards for a two-season spell in the early 2000’s. Jordan led the Bulls to their third straight NBA title in 1997-98 by defeating John Stockton, Karl Malone, and the Utah Jazz in a six game NBA Finals. Jordan won his 10th and final scoring title in 1997-98, averaging 28.7 points per game, while contributing 5.8 boards, 3.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.
This offered shooting shirt is short sleeved, with a black, white, and red Bulls color scheme. “CHICAGO” is sewn across the chest in red and white tackle twill. A white Nike swoosh logo is sewn on the chest and a Bulls logo is sewn on the back. A Nike size “2X” tag with an attached “NBA Authentics” flag is sewn on the front left tail. Jordan’s “23” is handwritten on this tag in black marker. A Nike flag sewn onto the back inside collar also features a handwritten “23”. The shooting shirt shows light use and comes with a LOA from MEARS.
