Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett was coming off a solid rookie campaign in 1984 with the Minnesota Twins, where he batted a solid .296 and finished third in the American League Rookie of the Year voting. 1985 saw Puckett increase his RBI total from 31 in 1984 to 74 in 1985. 1985 was the first full season for Puckett, playing in 161 games and developed into the leader of the Twins ball club that would ultimately win the World Series in 1987 and 1991.

Puckett wore this Wilson size 44 white home pullover Twins jersey during the 1985 season. This jersey features “Twins” and a paraph sewn on in red and navy tackle twill. Puckett’s number “34”, which displays some fading, is sewn on the center left chest. Sewn on the bottom front left tail is the team patch that reads “85 3”. The Wilson tag is sewn on the inside back collar. The jersey’s sleeve ends are capped with navy, white and red stripes and the V-neck collar has a navy, white and red pattern. The back of the jersey has Puckett’s number “34” sewn on in red and navy tackle twill that displays fading. The left sleeve has the classic Twins shield patch with “Minnie and Paul” shaking hands across the Mississippi River. This jersey is a wonderful rare early-career gamer from one of baseball’s most beloved players and it displays heavy game use with several stains and blemishes. Puckett has signed his name in slightly faded black ink between the “Twins” and his “34” on the front of the jersey. This jersey comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (190115A1) for the game use and a LOA from JSA (Z67443) for Puckett’s signature.
