Alex English was presented with the sharp blue blazer upon his induction into the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame. English, a native of Columbia, starred for Dreher High School before taking his talents to the University of South Carolina. English starred for the Gamecocks for four seasons, leaving school as the basketball program’s all-time leading scorer, with 1,972 points. English continued scoring throughout his NBA career, scoring a total of 25,613 points for a career average of 21.5 per game. In 1997, English was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
This blazer is blue, with two gold buttons on the chest and three gold buttons on each sleeve. The inside of the jacket is white, with a Kuppenheimer Premier Edition tag sewn inside the right breast. A South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame patch is sewn on the left chest. This jacket is in excellent condition, and it is accompanied by a LOA from Alex English himself.
