After spending the first 11 years of his career as the Brewers shortstop, Robin Yount converted to the outfield, all the while displaying his signature consistency at the plate. During the 1986-1989 seasons, Yount hit .312 in both 1986 and 1987 .306 in 1988 and .318 in 1989. This Louisville Slugger P72 model bat shows excellent use with a handle crack and has been dated to the 1986-89 seasons. The barrel displays several ball marks with stitch impressions plus blue ink transfers. There are blue and red bat rack paint streaks visible and Yount’s number “19” has been hand written on the knob in black marker. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in black marker adding the inscription “3142.” The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B01661) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8, along with a LOA from JSA (X00911) for the signature.
