2019 Winter Auction Closing March 2

Kirby Puckett debuted in 1984 and was one of the best players in the game until vision problems forced his early retirement following the 1995 season. Puckett was a 10 time All-Star and two-time World Series champion with the Twins, the only MLB team he ever suited up for. This bat dates to the very beginning of Puckett’s Hall of Fame career when he was a 24-year-old rookie trying to earn his place in the big leagues. The two-tone Louisville Slugger R43 model bat shows outstanding use with a repaired handle crack. There is slight checking from repeated ball contact on the back barrel and Puckett’s number “34” is hand written on the knob in black marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16173) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5.
