The legendary broadcaster Dick Enberg was presented with this Bluegrass Sports Tom Hammond Sports Media award in 2013 for his contributions to broadcasting. Enberg and Hammond were former colleagues, having co-presented the inaugural Breeders’ Cup in 1984 during their time with NBC. This offered award takes the shape of a clear plate, with “Tom Hammond Sports Media Award” and “January 31, 2013” printed on the border. The interior features a Bluegrass Sports Award logo and Enberg’s name. The plate measures 12.5 inches in diameter and comes with a LOA from the Enberg family.
