Former first baseman Cecil Cooper spent his first six season of his career with the Boston Red Sox. In 406 games with the Red Sox over those six seasons, Cooper hit 40 home runs, had 181 RBI while maintaining a solid .283 average.

This offered size 42 Boston Red Sox road jersey was worn by Cooper during the 1975 season. This jersey features “BOSTON” sewn on across the chest in Tuscan font in red and navy tackle twill. The V-neck collar has a red/navy/red pattern and Cooper’s number “17” is sewn on the back in McAuliffe style red and navy tackle twill. A “1975” tag and wash tag are sewn on the bottom front center tail. The size 42 tag and McAuliffe Uniform Corp. tag are sewn on the inside back collar. This jersey displays moderate use with some staining and Cooper has signed his name in black marker on the back of the jersey diagonally under the “7”. This comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use and a COA from JSA for the signature.
