New York Mets ace Ron Darling wore this gray Mets button-down road jersey during the 1991 MLB season. Darling, in his ninth season with the Mets, won five games with a 3.87 ERA before a July 15th trade sent the Hawaiian hurler to the Montreal Expos in exchange for Tim Burke. Darling won 99 games during his Mets career, and was a key member of the Mets 1986 World Series winning team. This road Mets jersey has “NEW YORK” sewn across the chest in blue, orange, and white tackle twill. “DARLING” and his number “15” are sewn on the back of the jersey in blue, orange, and white tackle twill. A Rawlings size “46” tag and a “91R” tag are sewn inside the front left tail. This jersey displays light game use as Darling only pitched in 17 games before being dealt to Montreal and it comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
