In his 13-year career that landed him in the Hall of Fame, Freddie Lindstrom held down third base for the Giants, Dodgers, Pirates and Cubs. Though he is not as well known today as his contemporaries such as Mel Ott, Jimmie Foxx and Lou Gehrig, in 1930 John McGraw ranked Lindstrom ninth among the top 20 players of the previous 30 years. Lindstrom ended his career with a solid .311 average and a rookie record for most hits (4) in a World Series game that stood until Buster Posey matched it in 2010. Despite his Hall of Fame status, PSA/DNA has stated that this is the sole example of a Freddie Lindstrom gamer that has been submitted for professional authentication. This Hillerich & Bradsby pre-model bat shows heavy use and is un-cracked. Many ball marks with stitch impressions can be seen on the left, right and back barrel and cleat imprints can be found on the right and left barrel. There are red bat rack paint streaks on the right barrel. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B03291) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5.
