Dick Allen used this Hillerich & Bradsby P89 model bat during the 1965-1968 seasons when he was a young star for the Philadelphia Phillies. In those four summers, Allen hit .297 and banged out 116 home runs. The Hillerich & Bradsby P89 model bat shows outstanding use with a handle crack. Many ball marks are visible on the left and back barrel along with green bat rack paint streaks and cleat imprints. The model number “P89” is stamped into the knob and the weight “40” is written in pencil. Allen has signed the barrel with his number “#15” and “40 oz” in black marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10135) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9, plus a LOA from JSA (Z67448) for the signature.
