The legendary Steve Carlton won the 300th game of his career on September 23rd, 1983, when his Philadelphia Phillies defeated his former club, the St. Louis Cardinals 6-2 at Busch Stadium. “Lefty” pitched eight strong innings, allowing only two runs and striking out 12 Cardinals as the Phillies bats piled 17 hits on a beleaguered Cards pitching staff. Offered here is a ticket to Carlton’s milestone victory. The ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21378068).
