Chris Chambliss’ .293 and 17 homers were a key component to the Yankees resurgence in 1976. The Yanks first baseman topped off the pennant winning season by being named to his final All-Star team and coming in 5th in that year’s AL MVP voting. The Hillerich & Bradsby C284 Bicentennial model bat shows excellent use with a handle crack. The special Bicentennial logo is stamped between the center brand and signature and there is a light coat of pine tar mid-handle. Chambliss’ number “10” has been hand written on both ends in black marker. A choice example of a one-year-only pro-model bat. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13617) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5.
