The rematch between Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston in 1965 was one of the most highly anticipated boxing matches of the century. Ali had dominated their first matchup, talking trash and inflicting a ruthless beating on Liston. The second fight was over nearly as quickly as it started, with Ali flooring Liston on an almost invisibly-fast punch two minutes into the first round. Liston could not beat the count, and Ali claimed his second consecutive victory over the once-unbeatable fighter. Presented here is a ticket from the heavyweight title fight. Only 2,434 fans attended this fight, the lowest attendance of any heavyweight championship fight, due to the remote location of the fight in Maine. This full ticket is the blue variation, and it has been encapsulated and graded a NM 7 by PSA (20970760).
