The Yankees and Giants shared Polo Grounds for the final time during the 1922 MLB season, which coincidentally ended with a Yankees-Giants World Series. The Giants won their second straight World Series in five games, winning four and seeing Game 3 declared a tie due to darkness. Offered here is a ticket to Game 1 of the 1922 World Series at Polo Grounds. The Giants earned a hard-fought 3-2 win in Game 1, with Art Nehf tossing the first seven innings and Rosy Brown closing the game out to earn the win. The Giants scored all three runs in the bottom of the eighth to overturn a 2-0 deficit on a two RBI single from Irish Meusel and a sacrifice fly off the bat of the Hall of Famer Ross Youngs. This offered ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20876973).
