A year after winning their first World Series title, the Washington Senators won the 1925 American League flag to set up a matchup with the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Fall Classic. While the Senators would outscore the Pirates, it was Pittsburgh that emerged as world champions after a thrilling, back-and-forth seven game series. Offered here is a ticket to Game 6 of the 1925 Fall Classic, a 3-2 Pirates win at Forbes Field to even the series at three games after the Senators built a 3-1 series lead in Game 4. Ray Kremer threw a complete game to take the win for Pittsburgh, while Eddie Moore, Clyde Barnhart, and the Hall of Famer Pie Traynor drove in the Pirates runs. Senators outfielder Goose Goslin connected on his third homer of the World Series for Washington, while Roger Peckinpaugh plated Ossie Bluege in the second on an RBI double.
