Presented here is a ticket to the track and field events of the 1932 Los Angeles Summer Olympics on July 31st, 1932. Babe Didrikson won the gold medal in the women’s javelin throw, hurling the javelin 43.69 meters to edge out the German pair of Ellen Braumüller and Tilly Fleischer for the title. This was Didrikson’s second gold medal of the 1932 Los Angeles Summer Olympics, coming after her win in the 80m Hurdles with a world record time of 11.7 seconds. This ticket stub has been graded an EX-MT 6 and encapsulated by PSA (16649109).
