The great Walter Johnson has signed this page from the publication “Who’s Who In Baseball”. Johnson, second all-time in wins and first in shutouts, certainly was “someone”, as evidenced by his induction into Cooperstown as a member of the first inaugural class in 1936. Johnson appeared in 60 1-0 games during his career, going 40-20 in these thrilling contests. “The Big Train” was a strikeout pitcher ahead of his time, whiffing 3,509 batters and holding the all-time record from 1921 until Steve Carlton broke it in 1983. Johnson has signed this page from 1933 in black steel-tip fountain pen. The back side of the page shows a profile for the outfielder Smead Jolley. This page comes with a LOA from JSA (B52700).
