After starting off the 2006 World Series with a tough 1-for-11 slump, Cardinals’ shortstop David Eckstein turned it on in Game 3, going 8-for-22 with four RBI including a tremendous three doubles in Game 4. After the Cards won the Series, David Eckstein was crowned the Series MVP. This Louisville Slugger M356 model bat shows outstanding use and is un-cracked. The barrel is covered with ball marks and abrasions along with bat rack paint streaks. Eckstein’s number has been hand written on the knob and barrel end in black marker and he has signed the barrel with “06 WS MVP” in black marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16190) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, plus a LOA from Steve Grad Beckett Authentication for the signature.
