St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolton Wong wore this gray Cardinals road jersey during Game 3 of the 2013 National League Division Series against the Pittsburgh Pirates on October 6th, 2013. The Pirates, the home team, won this game 5-3 after picking up a pair of RBI singles from Russell Martin and Pedro Alvarez in the bottom of the eighth. Wong was a rookie in 2013, appearing in 32 games after an August call-up from the Memphis Redbirds.
This gray button-down St. Louis jersey has “Cardinals” and the franchise’s iconic “Birds-on-a-bat” logo sewn on the chest in red, navy, and yellow chenille stitching. Wong’s number “16” is sewn on the chest and back in red and navy tackle twill. “WONG” is sewn across the back shoulders in the same fashion below a MLB logo patch. A Stan Musial memorial patch and a red Majestic logo are sewn on the left sleeve while a 2013 Postseason patch is sewn on the right sleeve. A Majestic size “46” tag is applied to the front left tail and “Wong” is embroidered in red on the front right tail. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 722678) that authenticates the jersey to Game 3 of the 2013 NLDS.
