Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett had his breakout season in 1986 when made his first All-Star Game selection and finished the season with a career-high 31 home runs, while adding 96 RBI and maintaining an exemplary .328 batting average. Puckett used this Louisville Slugger S226 model bat during the 1986 season. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, white leather scuffs, blue ink transfers and cleat imprints present on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. Puckett’s number “34” is handwritten on the knob in black marker and in silver marker on the top barrel. The late Hall of Famer signed his name in gold marker on the barrel, inscribing “#34”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16185) and has been graded a solid GU 8.5 for the game use and a LOA from JSA for the signature.
