Dave Winfield is one of only 28 members in baseball's illustrious 3,000 hit club. A first-ballot Hall of Famer, the 12-time All-Star used this bat during the 1983 season in which he hit .283 with 32 homers. The 1983 season was also famous for his killing a seagull with a thrown ball during pre-game warm-ups in Toronto. This offered Louisville Slugger W273 model bat shows outstanding game use and has a crack in the handle. There are ball marks, cleat imprints and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact present on the barrel. The handle has been taped to enhance the grip. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15742) for the game use.
