Former Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria used this Louisville Slugger I13 model bat for the last time on April 17, 2015 against the New York Yankees at Tropicana Field. Longoria went 1-for-3 with a walk and run scored during the Yankees 5-4 victory. This bat was cracked on the handle when Longoria singled in the fourth inning off of Adam Warren. This bat displays excellent game use with ball marks and blue ink transfers on the barrel and a coating of pine tar on the upper handle. Please note there is some white substance adhered to the pine tar. Affixed to the knob is a sticker with the bat’s manufacture date “3/27/15”, Longoria’s number “3” and the length/weight “33.5/31.5”. Longoria has signed his name in blue marker on the barrel and inscribed “GAME USED APRIL 17, 2015 YANKEES AT TAMPA”. This bat comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK716777) dating this bat to the April 17, 2015 game and the bat being broken during the fourth-inning single. There is also a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12546) for the game use and a COA from JSA (DD17420) for his signature and inscriptions.
