The legendary slugger Mark McGwire used this Rawlings MAC25 bat during his historic 1999 season. McGwire led all of baseball with 65 longballs, giving the former Oakland A’s star an incredible 135 total round trippers in back-to-back seasons. McGwire added a National League-high 147 RBI, 118 runs, and a .278 batting average to his stunning campaign. McGwire made his 11th career All-Star team in 1999 and finished in the top five of MVP voting for the third time in his career.

This bat displays solid game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and blue and red bat rack streaks present on the barrel. There are black streaks from contact with black bats on the barrel and the lower handle has a light coating of pine tar. The knob has the model number “MAC25” stamped, along with the order number “411” and year “99”. The knob also has handwritten “33” and “McGwire” in black ink. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15412) for the game use.
