Chicago Cubs slugger Sammy Sosa closed the book on 2002 by leading the National League with 49 home runs and 122 runs scored. Sosa used this Easton SS3 model bat during the 2002 season. This bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the handle that has been secured by tape. The barrel is covered with ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuff marks. The upper handle has a light coating of pine tar and the knob has Sosa’s custom ball-like tape on the knob end. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B11448) for the game use.
