New York Mets outfielder Darryl Strawberry wore this black Rawlings glove in 1987, arguably his greatest year as a pro ballplayer. Strawberry set or tied career-highs in almost every statistical category in 1987, including batting average (.284), homers (39), RBI (104), stolen bases (36), walks (97), total bases (310), and more. Strawberry was an All-Star for the fourth straight season in 1987 while finishing in the top-10 of the National League MVP race.

This black leather Rawlings glove has a “Trap-Eze” web and a red Rawlings tag sewn on the wrist. A circular Rawlings logo is located on the on the outside of the thumb. Strawberry has signed this glove twice, including above the circular Rawlings logo and on the outside of the thumb. Both signatures have been written in silver marker, however the autograph above the Rawlings logo is slightly faded due to age. An inscription of “1987” is present under this signature. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00548) for the game use and a COA from JSA (DD03938) for the player’s signature.
