Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway wore this pair of white, pruple, and gray Nike sneakers during the 1999-2000 NBA season, his first campaign with the Phoenix Suns. Hardaway started in all 60 games he played, scoring 16.9 points with 5.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game for the 53-29 Suns. Hardaway retired after the 2007-08 season with career averages of 15.2 points and 5.0 assists per game. Today, Hardaway is the head coach of the vaunted Memphis Tigers basketball program, his alma mater. These sneakers are size 14, with a white Nike swoosh applied to the outside of each shoe. A purple Nike logo and Penny’s personal logo are embroidered on the shoes in purple. Hardaway has signed each shoe in black marker, inscribing “#1 Suns” after each signature. These shoes originate from the personal memorabilia collection of Tyronn Lue, who was gifted the shoes by Hardaway after a game. These shoes come with a LOA from Tyronn Lue and a pair of COAs from JSA (DD03924, DD03925). Please note that Tyronn Lue is donating 100% of his proceeds from the sale of this item to the United Methodist Church of Mexico, Missouri.
