Houston Rockets center Yao Ming wore this white Rockets home jersey during the 2007-08 NBA season, his sixth season in the NBA. Yao played a career-high 37.2 minutes per game for the 55-27 Rockets, leading the team in both scoring (22.0 points per game) and rebounding (10.8 boards per contest). By this point in his career, Yao had become adept at getting his massive 7’6” frame to the foul line, shooting 85% from the charity stripe on 7.4 attempts per game. The former first overall pick made his sixth consecutive All-Star team in 2007-08, with two more to come in the final two seasons of his career. Chronic foot injuries forced Yao to step away from the game after the 2010-11 season, but in 2016 the pioneer from Shanghai was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

This white Houston pullover jersey has “ROCKETS” sewn across the chest in red and black tackle twill. Yao’s number “11” is sewn on the chest and back in red, white, and black tackle twill while “YAO” is sewn across the back shoulders in red tackle twill. The sides of this jersey are accented with red striping. An Adidas tag with attached size “56”, “Climalite”, “2007-2008”, and “+2 Length” flags is sewn on the front left tail. Yao has signed the back of this jersey in black marker, inscribing “To Ty Lue” above his signature. A MeiGray 2007-2008 Game Worn patch is sewn on the front left tail. This jersey comes with a LOA from JSA for Yao’s signature and a LOA from Tyronn Lue. Please note that Tyronn Lue is donating 100% of his proceeds from the sale of this item to the United Methodist Church of Mexico, Missouri.
