Offered in this lot are seven encapsulated signed photographs and cuts from members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The first item in this lot is a cut signed by Heinie Manush in blue pen. Please note that the PSA/DNA holder this item is presented in has a scratch, however this does not in any way affect Manush’s signature. This cut comes in a PSA/DNA holder and his signature has been deemed authentic (65033431). The next item is a photograph signed in purple pen by Dave Bancroft. On the reverse side of the photograph, Bancroft inscribed “Dear Mr. Malash: Many thanks for your kind wishes, and I sincerely hope you have a merry Xmas [and] a happy New Year”. Bancroft has signed this side of the photograph as well for a total of two signatures. This item has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (83111532).
The third item in this lot is a cut signed on one side by Pie Traynor and on the reverse by Zack Wheat. Each side shows an image of the respective player’s Hall of Fame plaque, with Traynor signing his side in blue pen and Wheat writing his signature in red marker. This item has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (81508300). The next photograph has been signed by the Chicago White Sox legend Ted Lyons in blue pen. This photograph has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (83111499). Up next is a photograph signed by the Hall of Fame catcher Bill Dickey and his fellow Yankee catcher Buddy Rosar in blue pen. This photograph has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (83111472). The next item in this lot is a photograph signed by Harry Hooper in blue pen. The photograph shows Hooper at-bat in his Boston Red Sox uniform. It has been encapsulated by SGC and authenticated by JSA (D08878). The final photograph in this lot has been signed by Gabby Hartnett during his days as the manager of the Jersey City Giants circa 1943-1945. Hartnett has signed this photograph in black pen, and the photograph has also been signed by an unidentified second person. This item has been encapsulated by SGC and authenticated by JSA (G12066).
