Albert Pujols led the St. Louis Cardinals to the 2006 World Series with his .331 average along with 49 homers and 137 RBIs. Pujols led the National League in slugging percentage at .671 and finished second in the MVP vote. Prior to the start of the 2006 season in the inaugural World Baseball Classic, Pujols represented his native Dominican Republic and led them to a fourth-place finish. In the tournament, Pujols batted .483 with six hits, a home run, three RBI and seven walks.
This offered SAM Bat JB1(S0SG1 model bat displays excellent game use and has a crack on the handle. According to the experts at PSA/DNA, the ink transfers that are present on the barrel of this bat are from non-MLB baseballs, indicating that this bat was possibly used in the Dominican Republic. Pujols has signed his name in black marker on the barrel and inscribed “5”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13873) for the game use and a LOA from JSA (Y06070) for his signature.
