Hall of Famer. A showpiece specimen from an incredibly intriguing, little publicized release is presented. This collectible reveals a fantastic and clear central image of superstar Honus Wagner in a phenomenal, career-contemporary portrayal. Much of the history surrounding Blum's Premiums remains unknown, but caption information seen on several of the issue's subjects points to a 1933-34 period of distribution. A line of copy on the 11-1/2" x 13-3/4" premium reads, "Compiled by Fred J. Blum, Publisher, Blum's Baseball Bulletin." This item's corners remain well-formed, and a slight degree of toning affects the perimeter. Minimally Near Mint presentation quality.
