William Howard Taft, the 27th President of the United States, has signed this offered cut. Taft also served as the 10th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, making the Cincinnati native the only American citizen to hold both positions. This item is the bottom part of a typed letter from Taft, reading “With warm regards and kindest associations, believe me, as ever, sincerely yours”. Taft has signed the cut in black steel-tip fountain pen. The cut is displayed below a photograph of Taft in a 10.5 x 15-inch frame. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (BB12042).
