The 1912 World Series was an eight-game affair between the New York Giants and the Boston Red Sox, with the American League squadron emerging victorious in a 4-3-1 World Series. Game 2 was played to a draw, with the encroaching Massachusetts dusk putting an end to the festivities at Fenway Park after 11 innings. Christy Mathewson pitched all 11 innings for the Giants, surrendering six unearned runs in a deceptively effective performance in this 6-6 tie. Duffy Lewis and Harry Hooper each went 3-5 for the Red Sox, with Lewis and Tris Speaker each scoring two runs. Buck Herzog went 3-4 with three RBI for the Red Sox, finishing a home run short of the cycle. This offered ticket stub has been encapsulated and graded a VG 3 by PSA (19395801).
