Bernie Williams was one of the reasons for the New York Yankees resurgence in the mid-1990’s. The center fielder’s bat helped the team make the post season year after year. The knob of this bat carries the “BW/01” stamping which indicates it was made specifically for the 2001 American League Divisional Series. Bernie recorded four hits in the series against Oakland - three of them doubles. This Rawlings DW20 model bat is un-cracked and shows excellent use. Many ball marks and white leather scuffs are found on the barrel and Williams has signed the barrel in silver. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16630) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9, plus a LOA from Steiner for the game use and signature.
