Kansas City Royals backstop Salvador Perez has emerged as one of the premier catchers in all of baseball. The 2018 saw Perez earn his fifth Gold Glove Award for his work behind the plate and offensively, his 27 home runs and 80 RBI earned him the Silver Slugger Award. Perez used this SAM Bat TT2 model bat during the 2018 season. This bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and cleat imprints present on the barrel. The handle has been taped in spiral pattern with blue and black Lizard Skins tape to enhance the grip. A blue Schutte Sticker with “KC” and “13” is affixed to the knob. Perez has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “G/U”. Please note that there is a streak that runs through horizontally on the center of Perez’s signature. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16628) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, plus a COA from JSA (DD03949) for the signature.
