In his 11th season with the Yankees in 2005, “The Captain” hit .309 with 19 home runs and 70 RBI and surpassed the 200-hit mark for the fourth time in his career. The next year he sported a high .343 batting average with 14 home runs and capped off 2007 by hitting .322 and leading the Bronx Bombers to another post-season berth. Jeter’s 2005-07 era Louisville Slugger P72 model bat is un-cracked and shows heavy use. The barrel is covered with ball marks and white leather ball scuffs and the handle has a moderate coat of Mota stick. The Captain has signed the barrel in silver marker, making this a complete Jeter gamer. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B05596) for the game use and an LOA from JSA (X56900) for the signature.
