The Joe Gibbs Racing team dominated the 2008 Camping World 300 at Daytona, delivering a 1-2 finish by Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch. Stewart – in his No. 20 car – became the first pole-sitter to win the race in over two decades. Driving his No. 18 car, Busch made a furious charge but had to settle for a second-place finish to Stewart.
Offered here is a Jostens manufactured 2008 Camping World Daytona 300 championship ring, featuring a CZ-studded number 20, set on a large colored stone. “DAYTONA 300 WINNER” reads in relief work around the bezel setting as additional CZs appear on either side of the stone. One side of the ring is centered by an image of Stewart’s car along with a facsimile of his signature. The name “FEGTER” is shown above with an image of flags below. The Joe Gibbs Racing logo appears on the opposite side, with the numbers 20 and 18 – along with “1-2 FINISH” – at the top, and the year 2008 at the bottom. The inside of the band is engraved “Kent Fegter” and also includes the manufacturer mark and “LTM”. This ring is an approximate size 10 ½ and weighs approximately 25.5 grams.
