Offered in this lot are five photographs signed by baseball greats. The first photograph has been signed by the Hall of Fame ace Dizzy Dean in blue pen. This photograph measures 5.25 x 8.25 inches and shows Dean being carried off the field by his Cardinals teammate after being struck in the head by a baseball while running the bases in the 1934 World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals. This photograph comes with a LOA from JSA. The second photograph in this lot has also been signed by Dean. This picture measures 8 x 10 inches and shows Dean pitching during his time with the Chicago Cubs. He has signed this photograph in black pen and added a lengthy inscription reading “To Glen D. Walley / A real guy and a Republican also a good talker fair card player good cook and a darn good gut. Forever your pal”. Evidence of a previous mounting is present on the back of this photograph. The photograph comes with a LOA from JSA.

The third photograph also measures 8 x 10 inches, and it shows the Yankees Hall of Famer Waite Hoyt pitching. Hoyt has signed this photograph in green pen, inscribing “Good Luck / Happiness – always” and an additional inscription that has suffered minor bleeding. This photograph comes with a PSA/DNA STICKER ONLY (T24109). The penultimate photograph in this lot has been signed by Chicago Cubs legend Bill Nicholson. Nicholson, a four-time All-Star and two-time NL home run champ, has signed this 7.5 x 9-inch photograph in black pen. Nicholson is pictured in a Cubs uniform taking practice cuts with a hefty piece of lumber. This item comes with a JSA STICKER ONLY (H20759). The final photograph has been signed by Cardinals legend Pepper Martin. Martin, pictured signing autographs in a Cardinals uniform, has signed this 5 x 7-inch photograph in black pen.
