Offered in this lot are 14 Uniform Player’s Contracts dating from the 1940’s through the 1990’s. The first contract is George “Red” Munger’s 1946 deal with the St. Louis Cardinals. It has been signed by Munger and Sam Breadon in black pen. the second contract is Murry Dickson’s 1946 contract with the Cardinals. It has been signed by Dickson and Breadon in black pen. The third contract is Howie Krist’s 1946 Cardinals contract. It has been signed by Krist in blue pen and by Breadon in black pen. The final 1946 Cardinals contract in this lot belonged to Terry Moore. Moore has signed this contract in blue pen and Breadon has signed in black pen. The fifth contract is Ted Kluszewski’s 1950 contract with the Cincinnati Reds. It has been signed in black pen by Warren Giles. The sixth contract is Vic Power’s 1955 deal with the Kansas City Athletics. It has ben signed by Power, William Harridge, and Ray Kennedy. The seventh contract is an unsigned version of Warren Spahn’s 1957 contract with the Milwaukee Braves. It is for $55,000 and comes with a typewritten letter on Braves letterhead signed by General Manager John Quinn. This contract comes with a Spahn Family LOA.  

The eighth contract is Don Hoak’s 1969 contract to manage the Columbus Jets. The contract has been signed by Hoak and a team emissary. The next contract is Rigoberto “Tito” Fuentes’ 1969 contract with the Phoenix Giants of the Pacific Coast League. The contract has been signed by Fuentes and a team official. The next contract is Leon Wagner’s 1970 deal with the Phoenix Giants. Wagner has signed the contract in blue pen. The next contract is Jim Davenport’s 1971 deal to manage the Phoenix Giants. Davenport has signed the contract in blue pen. The next contract is Lou Piniella’s 1974 Yankees contract. Piniella and Lee MacPhail have signed the contract in blue pen. Also included is a supplemental contract from the same season signed by Piniella, MacPhail, and a Yankees representative. The next contract is Jim Fregosi’s 1976 contract with the Texas Rangers. Fregosi has signed this contract twice in blue pen. Lee MacPhail has signed the contract as well. The final contract is Jose Vizcaino’s 1992 deal with the Chicago Cubs. He has signed this contract twice, as has a Cubs emissary. The contracts in this lot have been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication Services.
