New York Yankees slugger and 1998 World Series Most Valuable Player Scott Brosius wore this navy Yankees batting practice jersey during the 1999 MLB season. Brosius, in his second year with the Yankees, hit .247 with 17 homers and 71 RBI for the eventual World Series champions. A Gold Glover in 1999, Brosius played two more seasons with the Yankees before retiring after the 2001 campaign. This batting practice jersey is a two-button pullover, with a white tackle twill “NY” logo sewn on the left chest. A blue Majestic logo is present on the right sleeve and Brosius’ number “18” is sewn on the back of the jersey in white tackle twill. A Majestic tag with an attached “XL” size tag is sewn on the front left tail. This batting practice jersey comes with a Yankees-Steiner LOA.
