Offered in this lot is a 1969 anti-war poster directed at President Richard Nixon and the American war in Vietnam. This poster measures 17 x 22 inches and shows two images of Nixon, one with the President holding a plate bearing the United States seal, and a second showing Nixon with his lips pursed unflatteringly. Text at the top of the poster reads “Would you but a used WAR from this man?”. This poster was distributed by the Student Mobilization Committee To End The War In Vietnam. It is in good condition, although creases from folding are present on this green poster.
