The 1929 Philadelphia Athletics ran rough-shot through the American League en route to a 104-46 record, which was 18 games better than the New York Yankees. The A’s capped off their dominating season by defeating the Chicago Cubs in five games. Offered is this baseball with an “American League Ball” stamp that has been signed by 11 members of the that 1929 World Champion Philadelphia Athletics’ team, plus Hall of Famer Herb Pennock. All of the signatures have been penned in black with the south panel having the signature of Hall of Famer Connie Mack. The north panel has the signatures of Rube Walberg, Mule Haas, Jimmie Dykes and Hall of Famer Jimmie Foxx. The east panel has the signatures of Earle Mack and Hall of Famer Mickey Cochrane and the sweet spot has the signatures of Roger Cramer and Max Bishop. This ball displays toning and age wear, but the black ink signatures are still clear. This baseball comes with a LOA from JSA (X73450).
