Babe Ruth turned in one of baseball’s all-time great seasons in 1926, posting a Triple Crown slash line of .372/47/153. Ruth led baseball in almost every significant offensive category, including homers, RBI, runs (139), walks (144), OBP (.516), and more. Offered in this lot is a signed and inscribed photograph of Ruth golfing dated to November of 1926. Ruth has signed this photograph in black steel-tip fountain pen, writing “To My Friend Jim Boldt / From Babe Ruth / Nov. 26 1926”. The photograph measures 7 x 9 inches and is displayed next to a Perez-Steele Ruth card. This item is displayed in a 17 x 13-inch frame and is accompanied by a LOA from JSA (X32463).
