Presented here is an album page signed by a pair of Hall of Fame middle infielders. Honus Wagner, the deadball era star for the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Joe Gordon, a standout for the Yankees and Indians between 1938 and 1950, have signed this item. Wagner was one of the first National League stars of the 20th century, collecting 3,420 hits and eight NL batting titles in his 21-year career. Wagner was held in such high esteem that the National Baseball Hall of Fame inducted him as a member of their charter class. He has signed this album page in blue steel-tip fountain pen.
Gordon swung a good bat but earned his paycheck with an exceptional glove, often turning in a dWAR greater than 2.0. He hit 253 homers over his career and was named the 1942 American League MVP after posting a Triple Crown slashline of .322/18/103 for the pennant-winning Yankees. He has signed this album page in blue marker. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (B44332).
