Barry Larkin realized every kid’s dream by making it all the way to the Majors to become a star for his hometown team. The Hall of Famer used this bat in the years following the Cincinnati Reds wire-to-wire World Championship in 1990. During the years this bat dates to, 1991-93, the All-Star shortstop hit .306 while swiping 53 bases. The Louisville Slugger R43 model bat is un-cracked and exhibits outstanding use. Many ball marks with stitch impressions, white leather ball scuffs and black ink transfers are found on all sides of the barrel. A heavy coat of pine tar is on the handle and Larkin’s number 11” is hand written on the knob in black marker. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in black marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10030) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, plus a COA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
