The mid 1990’s saw Ozzie Smith winding down his Hall of Fame career. From 1991 to 1994, Smith won the last two of his 13 consecutive Gold Gloves and recorded his milestone 500th stolen base. Ozzie’s 1991-1994 era Louisville Slugger D125 model bat is un-cracked and exhibits outstanding use. Numerous ball marks with stitch impressions are found on all sides of the barrel and there is the impression of a weighted batting donut. A light coat of pine tar is on the handle and the length and weight “34-31” is written on the knob in silver marker. Smith’s number “1” is written on both ends in silver marker and the Cardinals great has signed the barrel in silver. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16028) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, plus a COA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
