Offered here is the very 14K gold 2000 Kobe Bryant Los Angeles Lakers NBA championship ring gifted by Kobe to his mother Pam Bryant. Obviously proud of winning his first NBA Championship a mere three years out of high school, Kobe Bryant magnanimously ordered an additional ring to present to his mother, Pam Bryant. This is not an executive version of the Championship ring, but the same EXACT ring given to Kobe Bryant and other Lakers players, but issued in a smaller size to fit Pam Bryant, ring size 8 ½ and weighs approximately 32.9 grams. This exact ring sold for over $107,000 in 2013 and compares favorably to the Tom Brady Super Bowl LI ring that sold for $350,000 and it’s worth noting that the Brady family ring  differed from the player rings that were made.

The Lakers won the 2000 NBA title in a six-game series over the Indiana Pacers after Los Angeles posted a remarkable 67-15 record during the regular season under head coach Phil Jackson. Bryant averaged 22.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists during the year while Shaquille O’Neal dominated the league, posting averages of 29.7 points, 13.6 rebounds and 3.0 blocked shots per game.

This ring features a total of 40 diamonds, including five larger round diamonds on either side of the face, which displays “LAKERS” filled with purple enamel. “WORLD CHAMPIONS” reads in relief lettering. The NBA league logo centers one side, with the name “BRYANT” at the top and the number “8” at the bottom. Also appearing are banners that reveal both the Lakers regular season mark of 67-15 as well as their postseason win-loss record of 15-8.  An image of a basketball hoop – with a diamond as a basketball – appears on the opposite side along with “BLING BLING” and “2000”. The inside of this ring is marked 14K. This ring comes with a LOA from Pam Bryant. Kobe will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020, and this ring (along with the ring given to his father) is the only championship ring or award of Kobe Bryant ever to come to market.  A rare once in a lifetime opportunity.

Please note that this lot has a 25% Buyer’s Premium (28% if payment is made using a credit card and/or is not paid within 10 days of invoice). Goldin Auctions will be donating 5% of the winning bid price to the MambaOnThree Fund.
